Thibodaux Swimmers Take ALL-District Titles

Yesterday in the Bayou League District Championships, 5 of Thibodaux’s 14 swimmers swam their way into the 2017 All-District Swim Team. On Friday, Oct. 28, the THS Tigers celebrated Senior night for its Football, Swim, Cross Country teams and Cheerleaders and Tigerettes.  The THS volleyball team celebrated its senior night on Thursday, Oct 27th at its last game of the season.  The following athletes were honored: Football #1 – Rochon Washington  #2 – Chase Hollis  #3

LHSAA State All-Academic Team

THS volleyball player Christin Bland and swimmer Karlie Trosclair were both selected to the State All-Academic team for their sport.  Both student/athletes maintain a 4.0 GPA.  Christin will receive her award at the State volleyball tournament on Nov, 12 at the Pontchatrain Center in Kenner, and Karlie will receive her award at the State Swim

This past Monday night at The Lafourche All-Parish Swim Meet, THS Senior Swimmer Karlie Trosclair qualified for the LHSAA Division 1 State Swim Meet in the 100 Breaststroke. Even though Karlie has been battling a rotator cuff injury this season, she was determined to qualify for the event for a second year in a row.
